Donovan Proxime Award

A gift of $10,000 has been generously donated to the Xavier College Foundation by Mr John Donovan to establish the Alexander Donovan Proxime Award, in memory of his father, Alexander Donovan.
 
The award has been established to honour the work and effort of the student or students who achieve the second-top mark in their final year of schooling.  
 
The Year 12 recipient/s will receive a book and cheque of up to $400. It will be presented at an awards ceremony at the College in the following calender year.
 
The $10,000 cheque was presented by John Donovan to Tony Bretherton, Executive Director of the Xavier College Foundation (pictured).
 
The Alexander Donovan Proxime Award Fund will be managed as a Subfund within the Xavier College Foundation.
